We've been working in the basement today. Mr. Audio and a friend have been putting up new sheet rock and I finally got the rest of the wallpaper border residue off the walls. And I made a batch of pretzels for the boys. I've also been doing some much needed laundry. There's still one small section of drywall to install and mud, then it'll need to be sanded smooth, primed and painted. Of course we still need to decide on what color we're going to put down there.
Next weekend is our 1st anniversary. I'm taking Friday off, so I'll have a 3 day work week. Sweet! And I'll miss the team building meeting/exercises *oh darn*. We're thinking of taking a road trip to Illinois and visiting some of my family in the process. We'll leave Thursday evening and take a nice leisurely drive. Unfortunately we'll have to be back in Topeka on Sunday, cuz I'll have to go back to work on Monday morning bright and early.
